How Dash Alive worksWhat each action costs, where the DASH goes, and what it means
These are community responses, not DAO votes. Support, Against and Advise on Dash Alive don’t cast masternode votes and don’t approve treasury funding. The official ballot is on DashCentral, and only masternodes vote there.
What we count. Each confirmed payment is one record. Counts are payments, not people: anyone can pay more than once, and a wallet can’t prove who someone is. For Support we show the DASH received at the project’s address from any source, read from the chain.
What’s on the chain, and what isn’t. Payments are public transactions anyone can check. Project details and advice are records we publish on GitHub after the payment confirms. A confirmed payment proves the money moved. It doesn’t prove a comment is true.
Verified. A reviewer from the Dash Support Team checked that the project is real and reachable at its links, that its owner signed a message with the receiving address, and that it isn’t a copy of another listing. The badge shows the date. It isn’t an endorsement and doesn’t promise funding.
Our own project. The Dash Support Team runs Dash Alive and lists its own project here. It’s marked “Operated by the Dash Support Team”, isn’t ranked above other projects, carries no Verified badge, and can’t receive Pool awards.
DAO proposal states. “Passing now” means it meets the vote threshold and fits this cycle’s budget right now. Votes can change until the vote closes, and nothing is paid until the superblock pays.

Against, Advise and listing payments go to the Pool, alongside direct contributions. Allocations are approved by people, in the open, under a published policy.

Support payments go straight to this address. The reviewer will ask you to sign a message with it to show it’s yours. Never share a seed phrase or private key with anyone, including us.

- 2 DASH goes to the Pool. It pays for the listing and the review.
- Your listing is published once the payment confirms, marked Not yet verified until the review is done.
- To verify, a reviewer checks your links, asks you to sign a message with the receiving address, and checks the listing isn’t a copy of another project. Verified isn’t an endorsement or a promise of funding.
- Listings that copy or impersonate another project are removed.
- Everything except your contact is published on GitHub, in the open.
