Every word, in order.

August’s lines are set in gold. Press any line to hear it.

1. 01The call at 2 AM
2. 0:01Who do you call when your Dash build breaks at two AM?
3. 0:06Your data contract won't deploy, and the error message just shrugs.
4. 0:11Your checkout can't tell when a payment is final.
5. 0:14You're the whole team, and the whole team is tired.
6. 0:17We've watched good builders hit these walls alone.
7. 02The front door
8. 0:22So we built a front door.
9. 0:24Office Hours, weekdays, one to four Central, in our public Telegram.
10. 0:29Any project, any stage, even the "should I build on Dash?" stage.
11. 0:34Bring the bug. Bring the draft you're scared to post.
12. 0:38After hours, Dasha never logs off, in many languages.
13. 0:42List your project on Dash Alive, right beside the live DAO ballot.
14. 0:47Help a builder and the Pulse credits you by name.
15. 03Final in two seconds
16. 0:51A coffee shop builder asks: when is a payment final?
17. 0:54Her answer: hand over the coffee on the lock, not on blocks.
18. 0:59Masternodes lock it in about two seconds, and it's final.
19. 1:04Platform rejects a state transition? She tells you exactly why.
20. 1:08Her mind is open source. She never asks for your keys.
21. 04Built first, in public
22. 1:14We built for months, unpaid, before we asked for anything.
23. 1:18Our hours go on a public log anyone can check.
24. 1:21Trust is the foundation and cornerstone of the Dash DAO. We intend to earn it every single superblock.
25. 1:30Let the waves move. The anchor holds.
26. 05The ask: 128 DASH
27. 1:34First ask: one hundred twenty-eight DASH, one month.
28. 1:38Seventy-two to three leads, twenty-four to support, twenty-four to builders, eight to infrastructure and Dasha.
29. 1:46Leads log three hours minimum, every weekday, publicly.
30. 1:51Month's end, a public report: every DASH with its transaction, what slipped.
31. 1:56Then we propose again, built on what we learned.
32. 2:00We submit right after October's superblock, for November's round: a whole month to talk it through.
33. 06The dream: Dash Waves
34. 2:07Coming next, the dream: Dash Waves.
35. 2:10Your build would get a living home, a steward, and verifiable steps.
36. 2:16Carriers spread it. And the treasury? The tide comes every month.
37. 07Into the Waves
38. 2:22Into the Waves.
39. 2:24A Wave begins with a person and a purpose. A Wave Guide helps give it form. Other people can carry it, challenge it, improve it, and help move it forward. The Wave keeps its home and its history as it grows.
40. 2:40Two waves, moving as one.
41. 2:42Above, the Wave Praxis: a human way to build. Below, Dash: digital cash, a treasury, and a network that votes.
42. 2:51A Dash Wave is a living, builder-owned home for work on Dash. A Wave Guide helps shape it, and the community carries it. When the work needs treasury funding, the Wave goes to the ballot as a proposal, is paid in Dash at the superblock if masternode owners vote it through, and reports back before it asks again.
43. 3:13Anyone who meets a Dash Wave should see three things at once. The story: what is being built on Dash, and why it matters. The next move: what is needed now, and how to help. And the evidence: what has happened so far, and how to check each claim, all the way down to the transaction.
44. 08The language of the water
45. 3:34In the language of the water, it reads like this. The ocean is Dash itself: digital cash that settles in about two seconds. The tide is the superblock: about once a month, the network pays the proposals it voted through. The shore is the vote: masternode owners decide what each tide carries. A tide pool is a Wave Pool: a public Dash address with a named steward and a published policy. The wake is the Journey: every step dated, every Dash tied to its transaction. And the anchor is ChainLocks: once a block is locked, the record holds.
46. 4:09The tide stays the same size, and every month it lifts work the network can see.
47. 09Six bindings, one loop
48. 4:18Six bindings tie the two waves together.
49. 4:21One. The proposal points home. Two. The superblock is the heartbeat. Three. The ledger explains itself. Four. Every pass gets its own addresses. Five. The Journey is signed on Dash Platform. Six. Tide Pools, for the missing middle.
50. 4:40Together, the six bindings close one large loop. A Wave asks, the network pays, the work shows, and the next ask is easier to trust.
51. 10The monthly beat
52. 4:51A Wave moves on the network's monthly beat.
53. 4:54Form. Carry. Propose. Vote. Tide. Report.
54. 4:59Small, kept promises, one tide at a time, are how trust compounds.
55. 11The Guide and the carriers
56. 5:06Every Wave starts with a conversation. The Guide helps a builder turn an intention into a working Wave. The builder keeps the agency; the Guide brings experience with Dash. Guides come from the community: Office Hours staff, people who have run proposals before, builders who have shipped on Dash Platform.
57. 5:26Then people carry it: creators, channels in every language, merchants, masternode owners.
58. 5:32The talking stick is the ritual. I have listened. I will carry this forward. I will show what I did.
59. 12The Journey and the ledger
60. 5:40Every step lands in the Journey.
61. 5:43The ladder has four steps. Self-reported: the steward says so, in a Journey event signed by the steward's identity. Linked: a public source backs it, with the link and the date it was checked. Partner-confirmed: someone accountable confirms it, signed by the partner's identity. And transaction-verified: the Dash moved, locked by InstantSend or in a ChainLocked block, with its transaction ID. Every Wave also keeps a tide ledger: each Dash in, from a superblock, direct support, or a pool award, and each Dash out, to contributors and budget lines, labelled with what it was for. The chain supplies the facts, and the Wave supplies the meaning.
62. 6:25Delivery builds trust. Trust brings carriers and support. And support funds the next delivery. Rewards that pay only on evidence keep that loop honest, so a Wave grows through work the network can see.
63. 13Six Waves
64. 6:43Six Waves are already written.
65. 6:45Wave one, DashSupport.Team. The founding Wave, and the front door for every builder on Dash.
66. 6:51Building on a blockchain can be hard. It's even harder to set off and build alone.
67. 6:57Wave two, DashCentral. An invitation we wrote for their team: a Journey beside every proposal, right where the DAO votes.
68. 7:07Wave three, Outlier.Systems. A living systems map of the Dash DAO: every flow, every loop, every leverage point.
69. 7:15Solutions For The Data Backed World.
70. 7:19Wave four, Semble.CC. Builders in one room, and a record kept by the people who were there. First stop, Chicago.
71. 7:28Build Together. Build In Public.
72. 7:31Wave five, Waves.Fund. The praxis itself, arriving on Dash: Learn, Guide, Give, Grow.
73. 7:39Trust People. And They Become Trustworthy. Don't Just Build A Vibe... Build A Wave.
74. 7:46Wave six, SystemsBench, led by Ember Seoni. An open benchmark for systems intelligence, run in public.
75. 7:54SystemsBench In A Sense!
76. 14What it means for you
77. 7:58For masternode owners: the pitch, the budget and the record in one place before you vote, and the month report in the same place after. For builders: a home that outlives any one proposal, a Guide for the hard parts, people who carry your work, and a route to Dash that fits the size of the job. For newcomers: a way into Dash that starts with a person and a project, before anyone has to learn how governance works. And for the network: more Dash moving to people doing work the DAO can see, a treasury that learns every month, and more projects that stay built.
78. 15The path to November
79. 8:37Here's the path.
80. 8:39October twenty-first, the superblock pays, and we submit for November.
81. 8:45A whole month on the ballot, in Office Hours and on DashCentral.
82. 8:50Votes close around November seventeenth. If it passes, it pays around the twentieth.
83. 8:56Then the pilot: three founding Waves, each with a Guide, one pass, one real action, and a Journey anyone can read.
84. 9:04Then we publish what repeats, as an open data contract on Dash Platform.
85. 9:10Then the first Tide Pool, so the smallest builds reach the tide too.
86. 9:16Raise Money In A New Way.
87. 9:18On Dash, the tide comes every month. Dash Waves give it work worth lifting.
88. 16We show up
89. 9:24We show up for the cafe checkout, the wallet, the Platform app, the tip jar.
90. 9:30The game that pays in Dash, the AI agent that earns it.
91. 9:34The crew teaching Dash in their own language. The masternode question at two AM.
92. 9:45This is the strongest faith I have ever felt. Now we move.
