Approved by people, in the open
The Pool exists to support builders. Named people approve each award under the policy below, with community input from Dash Alive and the Telegram group, and every award is announced on The Pulse before any DASH moves.
Radically transparent
Every movement is a public transaction, and the accounting is published in the open commons: addresses, balances and flows. Reports land on The Pulse.
Kept cold
Dash Alive’s payment addresses are watch-only on the server, which can’t spend from them. The operator moves funds to this reserve by hand, signing offline, and the reserve’s key never touches a server.
How the Pool pays forward.
- What it funds
- A specific next step for a project listed on Dash Alive: a milestone, a fix, an audit. Not the Dash Support Team’s own project, and not our running costs unless we announce that separately first.
- Who decides
- August James Domanchuk, Director of the Dash Support Team, who holds the reserve’s key offline. Recommendations can come from anyone, through advice on Dash Alive or the Telegram group.
- Conflicts
- Anyone with a stake in a project stays out of its decision. The Dash Support Team’s own project can’t receive an award.
- Limits
- Awards come only from available funds. Nothing is promised beyond what the Pool holds.
- When
- The first review round opens when available funds reach 10 DASH. Reaching it opens a review. It doesn’t spend anything by itself.
- What we publish
- For each award: the project, the reason, the amount, who approved it, the payment transaction, and what was delivered, on The Pulse. Recommended, approved and paid are shown as separate steps.
- What changed
- Until September 24, 2026, this page said the Pool would pay projects automatically in proportion to their Dash Aligned score, starting at 10 DASH. The Pool never reached 10 DASH, so nothing was paid or owed under that rule. The DASH it holds is allocated under this policy instead.
